Ich bin
Das Prinzip "Ich bin" beschreibt Neville Goddard als die mystische Übersetzung des Namen Gottes. Und stellt damit die ungetrennte Einheit von Gott und Mensch, die wunderbare menschliche Vorstellungskraft als Weg der schöpferischen Manifestation dar. Auf Grund der zentralen Bedeutung, benennt Neville Goddard "Ich bin" als den ersten Grundsatz. "Ich bin" deutet ebenfalls darauf hin, dass eine Annahme in der Gegenwart aufrecht gelebt werden muss (im Gegensatz zu "Ich war..." oder "Ich werde...").

"Wenn du dir Gesundheit wünscht, musst du sie bereits innerlich vorwegnehmen, auch wenn die Argumente des Arztes das Gegenteil bedeuten. Die Ärzte sind nicht dein Gott. Dein Gott ist immer nur das "Ich bin". Solange du dich von einer äußeren Autorität abhängig machst, überträgst du dieser Autorität die Macht, die Gott gebührt und machst sie zu einem Abbild. Wenn du etwas im Namen Gottes anrufst und sein Name "Ich bin" lautet und du "Ich bin" sagst, bist du dann nicht jedes Mal dein eigener Schöpfer?
"Wenn ich Gesundheit will, muss ich die volle Verantwortung dafür übernehmen. Wenn ich Gesundheit will und mir die Ärzte sagen, dass ich nicht gesund werden kann und ich ihnen uneingeschränkt glaube, dann habe ich meine Entscheidung getroffen und muss die Verantwortung dafür übernehmen. Wenn ich aber mutig genug bin, innerlich die Gesundheit vorwegzunehmen, wird Gott sie verkünden, denn er hat keinen anderen Namen als „Ich bin“. Das ist die große Offenbarung, die wir im dritten Kapitel, 14. Vers, des Exodus finden: "Da antwortete Gott dem Mose: Ich bin, der ich bin. Und er fuhr fort: So sollst du zu den Israeliten sagen: Der Ich-bin hat mich zu euch gesandt." Was immer du erklärst, für Gottes Name steht jede Form des Verbs "sein", ob "Ich bin", "ich war" oder "ich werde"

But if I dare to assume health, God is proclaiming it, for he has no name other than I am! This is the grand revelation found in the third chapter, the 14th verse, of Exodus. "Go and tell them `I am has sent me to you.' Whatever you declare, is; for God's name is any form of the verb to be, whether it is I am, I was, or I will be."
